VT's a pretty good TV draw. Style of play, homefield, beating OSU in 14.

Overall, VT's a much better ratings team than USC-E, WVU, or UNC (football). College football fans had quite a few reasons to believe VT would be competitive, despite our previous record. Heck, we were compettive for most of the game. I thought we had a pretty decent chance at the upset. Others did too.

Had Brewer held up and we got a lucky lucky bounce, I think we could have kept it close that night. Absolutely ridonculous energy in Lane Stadium that night. People were checking us out.
