Exactly... plus the "Lane Experience" is fun to watch on TV

Yes, OSU were defending champs and a national brand. They brought in a QB controversy and chip on their shoulder since VT was their last loss... and the HEARD about all year in 2014. That brought in plenty of viewers, but...

VT pulled out all the stops Labor Day weekend. Brad Paisley concert, Metallic orange helmets and pom-poms, sold out crowd, new Beamer Barn... and a team with a tough QB who had beaten them last year. VT definitely had an effect on viewership.
