Bottom line, the Big 12 and PAC schools currently make more from their media deals on an individual basis, but from a conference standpoint there is probably more total interest from the viewing public in the ACC...if attendance is an index, about 20% more in the ACC football than the Big 12. And this doesn't factor in Notre Dame at all.

It is an even bigger disparity in basketball with those 2 conferences.

For me, I think these gross attendance figures may be an index to gauge the conference media deals, and perhaps even conference stability. So we'll see where the Swoff and his crew land the plane, relatively speaking.
