I suspect for most folks disinterest, it's because they just don't like women's basketball, period.

I personally have no interest in men's basketball, and it's certainly not because it's dominated by one school.

I'm not interested in men's basketball because I don't like basketball. I'm interested in men's and women's basketball only so far as it concerns VT.

I was more interested in the NIT than the men's NCAA tournament. However, once we lost in the NIT, I stopped caring about NIT.
