I prepped..so my parents didn't get to watch my cuts

My sister watched a tourney of me at 119 and was horrified, called my parents and they called my coach. By then, we had already mutually agreed to send me back up to 126, as I had used unhealthy means to get to 119 (actually 121, as we had a 2lb allowance).

Today, I wouldn't be allowed to wrestle at either class.

Post weigh-in eating was a huge issue for me, as there was an initial crash.which was dicey because I was one of the first guys up. Several times I started slow and the food would kick in mid 2nd round. Because of this I was pretty effective in the 3rd period. Sandwiches didn't work for me, neither did Snickers which the team gave to the team (oranges, sandwiches and Snickers). By season's end I brought my own food: usually, cold cuts, oranges and sunflower seeds. After the match, I'd go back to the locker room and have a half of a sandwich.
