According to quotes attributed to her, she was burned out...


According to Wikipedia Goestenkors resigned as the head coach at Texas on March 19, 2012, stating that her heart was telling her to "take a break" from basketball. I know it's poor form to quote Wikipedia, but the quote came from a legit newspaper.

IMO she has an impressive resume, but she has been away from college basketball for 4 years. Given the quote and why she left UT, I question if she has the desire to face the demands of coaching in the ACC
