I'm tempering my expectations. Loeffler was no idiot...
A true spread offensive philosophy is better suited to our recruiting profile, and we saw Loeffler evolve in that direction as it became clear early on that a Stanford pro-style offense is just not going to work here. (It was abundantly clear to this poster years ago)
The genie in the spread "bottle" has a lot to do with tempo, and we should see a few flashes and sparks from that alone, but it's not going to turn us into a top 40 offense overnight. At least I think that's highly unlikely.
I'm expecting another 2-3 year transition before this tree bears fruit.
