As stated above, it's not an NCAA award, thus ESPN ...


... wasn't putting it on air to begin with.

The OW and Coach of the Year Awards are technically handed out after the "close" of the championships. People scream every year when the event closes and there's no OW, and every year these buggers forget they aren't officially NCAA awards.

ESPN's requirement ends after the trophy presentation. Ancillary awards aren't their responsibility.
