We would have cornered off everything from Philly/NJersey all the way to Miami. And the WVU/Pitt, WVU/Miami, WVU/Maryland, WVU/VT, Rutgers/Maryland, Pitt/VT rivalry type games would have served the ACC well. Yes, the ACC has little presence in Pennsylvania, but having Rutgers and Pitt would have placed us in the conversation there. Philly has a ton of Rutgers folks around. The State U of New Jersey would have done pretty well considering all the Jersey kids at VT, UVA, UNC, Duke, Miami, Maryland, and WVU too.

I wouldn't have bothered reaching all the way into Upstate New York or Boston until the ACC had established a good solid presence in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
