Personally, I think he answered the question perfectly


He didn't close the door to VT but he also didn't insult the folks that are paying him at JMU by saying he had zero interest in the VT job (how many times have coaches said something like that only to eventually take the new job and look like they were lying through their teeth).

He also didn't shut the door on VT. He even addressed one of my earlier points about his daughter signing with JMU.

I respect him for his candor and given his record, I would certainly be happy if he were hired (but I doubt Whit cares what I think and that's the way it should be).
