Even though I would like to see Babcock retire as VT AD

I wouldn't necessarily see it as a bad thing if he took another job (depending on the job). If he became ACC Commissioner or even an administrative position within the NCAA, then I could see him do a lot of good things in that position or at least try to achieve them. Depending on how long he remains AD at VT, his success could have a positive effect on how future people view the position. In this regard I am torn on the idea of him leaving VT. On one hand I think he will do a lot of great things for VT. On the other hand if he and other people after him go on to do great things in other positions, then it can only have a positive impact on the school.
