With Motu it seemed to me most his problems came from between the ears..


He either made a bad read and hit the wrong hole or spent too much time reading the play and let the OLine make the first contact. Once a guy who outweighs you by 100+ pounds is in tight against you, they are in control 99% 0f the time. Later in the season he did get better at making quicker reads and getting into the proper flow to his gaps. With that he also avoided the linemen better too. He is never going to be a MLB who tosses the Linemen aside and crushes the ball carrier but he has enough size and speed to be effective if he gets to the proper recognitions faster. Of course I may be wrong......
