No more half measures. Be bold, say that's the guy, and if you want the job step it up because you aren't as good right now. It's up to you to work your ass off over the summer if you want that to change. If there's no QB1 there is no standard bearer. If there is no one to pursue and therefore no competition. Naming a starter at the end of the spring is exactly what this team needs and if someone can knock him off in the 10 or so practices in the fall it will happen regardless. Be bold and show some confidence in the players instead of back peddling into a decision. Let the change begin.
