Refraining from undue praise does not mean the only remaining option is to "trash" the player. Its got nothing to do with trashing him or anyone else.
Bud seems perfectly fine with giving neutral comments about other players...Ekenam, Fayscon, ect. All infinitely more praise worthy than Motu but those guys get generic comments. Hmmm
