I do think the game can slow down for him with experience and he can be a
competent starter for us. The most insightful part of Bud's answers was that he seems to think the run D and D as a whole has paid for moving the secondary guys from position to position so much. They got lost in their run fits, etc. Torrian did a lot of switching around and made last minute decisions on personnel that seemingly started to baffle Bud a bit. Torrian was and is a great Hokie but I do think his time here sort of got stale and ran the course. I don't think Bud lost much, if any, sleep over his departure.
