I think he's athletic when he's going straight ahead.


When he has to change directions though, he can't do it. For example, Thomas Sirk running by him in the backfield on their game-winning play. He just couldn't change directions fast enough, and I don't think he ever got a hand on Sirk despite never being touched by a blocker.
