East Carolina to add women's lacrosse program.


It's good to see growth in the sport in this time of all the cutting. Now it's time for Debbie Yow to do the same. The Wolfpack can't let the Pirates get ahead of them. Ultimately I'd like to see more men's lacrosse programs in the ACC. But women's would be a start. It sounds like there is a lot of growth with lacrosse in North Carolina high schools per the release.

It doesn't say which conference ECU will play in. The American doesn't have women's lacrosse. The three schools in the American that play are in the Big East.
