You don't have to have someone lined up, but a short list is a must...


and there's simply no way that someone as good as Whit doesn't have a list prepared (likely for all sports) just in case he needs it for whatever reason.

If he's going to make a change he likely has put some feelers out through agents to gauge interest and that will certainly factor into the process. As Will pointed out above, there's no way DW returns without an extension so Whit is likely still evaluating all of his options at this point.
