"what Wilma said were statements of fact" & "whether they

were true or not" are contradictory. If they are not true, then they cannot be fact. I also did not see anything that would be defamatory. Coaches get hell all of the time from fans. I don't think an obscure comment at the end of a newspaper article is likely to read by many or paid any attention to by a coach. I would suspect that if you have 95 fans talking about a coach instilling toughness and discipline in his team that you can find 5 who will say he is being abusive. This is especially true when we have so many students demanding "safe spaces".

One last comment. We saw how fast CJ Reavis was removed from campus over an allegation. If there had been some line crossed by the coach, I am certain he would have been removed quickly. There is always another side to the story.
