If Penn State and Louisville can do well, why not Virginia Tech?

The latest top 25 WLAX rankings have 4 land-grant universities in the top 18 (#1 Maryland, #2 Florida, #13 Penn State, and #18 UConn). Plus the University of Louisville is ranked #4 this week. Tech is very similar to Penn State. Louisville isn't in lacrosse country and neither is Florida even though LAX is becoming more popular down there.
Tech has to find a way to get the better players to come down to Blacksburg. Louisville and Florida have figured it out.
