Which confuses me even further....

If the investment has already been made to anchor and record all of the BB and FB games, the incremental cost to add another distribution channel doesn't seem foreboding to me. As such I would think that the higher advertising revenue (driven from more viewers) would provide a handsome return on the investment.

Maybe the issue isn't BB and FB? Perhaps it is about providing all of the additional content from sports not currently covered well (baseball, softball, Olympic sports)?

If someone can go into a little detail about the business plan, investments, operating costs and revenues, I would be very grateful. There is a reason why this hasn't happened yet, but the rationale commonly discussed on this board does not provide an answer that somebody not in the telecommunications business can understand.
