Three weeks of workmen, drywall dust, buckets of grey water, caulk, plastic runners taped down three flights of stairs, noise, Hamish and Minerva being relegated to the kitchen or taken to daycare, and sharing one sink with the Mr. That last one was probably the biggest irritation for the man.
