The majority of VT's postseason fate may rest in the hands
of how many mid-major conferences receive automatic bids to the NIT. The more upsets we see in the mid-major conference tournaments, the deeper the run VT may have to make in the ACCT regardless of what happens in the final 2 games.
Even though I am happy with the possibility of VT playing its First Round game in DC, I am not that thrilled that it would be against GW and its potential Second Round opponent would be the winner of the BYU/UDub game. VT probably matches up better against UDub. However, I don't think UDub would beat BYU.
