I served a total of five years in Korea. Two of those years were on the DMZ in which North Koreans operated in the Joint Security Area along with US Army infantry until the North Koreans hacked two officers to death in the famous tree cutting incident. I was there to witness the brutality. These soldiers are ruthless and have zero respect for human life. Nobody should be fooled and enter North Korea for any reason. It is insane. Look at how many Americans have been taken hostage while visiting. These people are animals and they treat their own people the same way. Nobody should visit North Korea.
