When I lost respect for the CBI was in 2009 (second season)

Oregon State had an overall record of 13-17 at the end of the regular season and was the #1 seed in the west because of the CBI's policy. Oregon State ended up winning the tournament (went 2-1 in the Finals) that year and finished with an overall record of 18-18. I think what troubled me the most is the tournament that year had 2 teams with losing records and 1 team with .500% record even though there were a couple schools with winning records that opted to stay home.

It seems like every year the CBI has at least 1 participating team with a losing record. I can handle a team getting into the NCAA Tournament with a losing record because that team earned its conference's automatic bid. I have a bigger problem when a tournament gives a team with a losing record an at-large bid. I just hope the Las Vegas Tournament (LVT) doesn't end up giving at-large bids to teams with losing records because it will make it that much tougher for the LVT to earn respect.
