I worked 5 years @ Kia assembly plant in West Point, GA with Koreans....
At new employee orientation we were instructed not to discuss N Korea or the Korean War with our Korean co-workers. When N Korea was in the news it was usually a non-event with our Korean co-workers. They were all to consumed with making money to care about N Korea. The few times they would discuss it they tended to think of the North as poor neighbors to be ignored. The thought of unification did not appeal to them, they didn't want the economic burden. The military threat did not concern them.
