I have no idea and really no expectations, every year in college football

we see new coaches at all levels. We seem them at power 5 levels and smaller FBS schools. Some of those coaches come out and have an outstanding first year while others struggle a year or two to get their system in place.
With that being said it's possible VT is one of those schools that thrives the first year since we look to have a lot of starters/experience back, but it depends a lot on QB play, depth at WR and LB IMO.
Obviously I want a great season, but even if we don't go 6-6 I'm not going to put it all on CJF. I do like the fact that we have competition at QB and all possible QBs are here for Spring.
