Re: That'd be tough sitting next to a coach for two hours.

Did your brother like Self and/or have a good impression of him? Reason I ask is the following story on Pitino.

Friend I know worked for a company that hired Pitino to speak to an employee/customer gathering. Guy flew on company jet to Lexington to serve as company liason for the trip. They picked Pitino up for what was about a 90 minute flight(180 minutes roundtrip). Other than the original greetings and responses to questions about whether he would like refreshments or snacks Pitino did not engage in any conversation. Said Pitino was completely stoic. Said as Pitino walked in to the event it was like he just flipped a switch to be everybody's best friend and made a very engaging presentation. Upon exit, he flipped the switch again and the return flight was a mirror of the first leg with the departure thank you replacing the original greeting. Found the story strange but, interesting from the perspective/contrast that this guy has had the same kind of duty for other name talent his company engaged and he always has some entertaining anecdotes to tell. His conclusion from the encounters is that they rarely turn out as he expects. I told him to quit expecting and he said it has now become a game he plays just to see if he can get it right.
