I've often wondered that myself. Watched my dad suffer immensely with cance


for just over a year. Basically nothing but bones when he passed. I always wondered if it would have been better for the family if he would have suddenly passed. The one thing with knowing he was terminal was that I knew he had limited time left and I could prepare myself for the ultimate outcome, but the suffering that came with it.....brutal.
