NWCA is run by wrestling coaches across the country


its part of the reason this has been so controversial. Think of it as a governing body composed of College wrestling coaches at the D1, D2 and D3 level.

Next year the conference Champions from the MAC EIWA ACC SOCON BigXII EWL Pac12 and one at large will host 8 B1G teams. It will still be B1G vs. the rest next year. After that the 2 year contract expires

My guess it that we see a requirement for a dual conference champion down the line, the addition of a few at large and we go to an 8-12 team, 8 conference situation. Then some BCS like metric determines #1 vs #2.
