My thoughts...

I agree with Health that we didn't seem very aggressive at the low weights.

Dance got a couple super-quick takedowns, but Youtsey kept getting in on the leg and wrestled a great match. Dance was fortunate to survive that and I thought for sure Youtsey's shot in SV2 was going to end it. It did, but only thanks to a miraculous scramble by Joey.

Didn't see any swipes in the late takedown at 141 either. Looked to me like Chiskho was half-seated and leaning back for a few seconds there trying to fight Fisher off. I have no idea when you're supposed to start counting in that situation, but sounds like the ref called it. That's the sort of call that would piss me off if we lost, but I can shrug it off since Chishko got out and won.

I was nervous about McFadden going in after last weekend, but he had a nice match. I agree he didn't put Amine into much danger in his long rides until late in the 2nd. I got scared when they were wrestling on the edge after his takedown in the first and McFadden got tilted over a little toward his back. Shades of last weekend where both of his opponents scored by converting McF's advantage into 4NF. I was also nervous when McFadden cut his guy with like a minute left up 7 after such a huge RT advantage. Maybe better off to try to ride out for the major instead of going for one last takedown. Fortunately that worked.

Great job by Epperly dominating his match. His bonus (and McFs) would have been the difference in a 5-5 match (instead of 7-3 as it turned out).

Agree that ZZ was begging for a stall in the 2nd with all the rides to the boundary, but that call after the restart still irks me. The call in the 3rd bothered me more; Abo wasn't really doing anything to deserve the call IMO. And I have absolutely no clue why they made the call in the rideouts, but that was adding insult to injury.

Great job by Haught. Jared didn't get much offense in, other than a near takedown in the first countering Huntley's shot. But he did a great job fighting off really good shots by Huntley. If you asked me after 6:45, I'd say Huntley clearly deserved to win, but that's why they wrestle 7:00. Great shot at the end to ice it. I think the 2NF that Haught got was very similar to the 2NF they gave Fisher at 141 (but much less relevant).

Would have liked to see more offense from Ty, but he got the job done. He was probably close to a second SW near the end.
