I think that for a transition year, we did reasonably well.

Our most pressing need was to add playmakers at WR, and we did a very good job of that by signing 4 guys that we targeted early and that were all pretty high on our list (Eric Kumah, Divine Diablo, Patrick Patterson and Sam Denmark)

We also needed to add bodies at OL and we did that. (Silas Dzani, THomas Hopple, Demitri Moore, T.J. Jackson, Patrick Kearns)

We signed the #1 rated JUCO QB in the country (Jerod Evans) as well as a very athletic QB out of Michigan that Scott Loeffler liked a lot (Josh Jackson)

We added a disruptive DT that Bud Foster really likes a lot (Jarrod Hewitt) and a solid DE (Jimmie Taylor) who had offers from multiple ACC, SEC and Big 10 programs.

We added three LBs with good size and speed that I think Bud and Galen Scott can mold into good players. (Tavante Beckett, Eron Carter, Emmanuel Belmar)

Finally, we signed a very highly-rated CB (Khalil Ladler) who had over 30 D-1 offers. He's recovering from a knee injury but if he can make a full recovery, he could be an excellent player for us.

Recruiting during a coaching transition is never easy. But all in all, I think we did about as well as could have been expected. It's not a class with a lot of "WOW!" factor, but it is a class that seems to have addressed our needs well.
