Best possible outcome, given the HC change, and new coaches coming in basically 6 weeks before signing.

1. Almost all recruits from the old staff were convinced to sign with VT.

2. While VT was able to gain initial interest from 10+ new quality recruits after the coaching change, only a few actually signed with VT. If they had this could possibly have been a top 30 or 25 class?

3. In the end, some critical needs were filled, including #1 JUCO QB and solid O lineman. Lots of young receivers.

4. If all had worked out perfectly, we'd be looking at a 5 star class. At this point, I think we're generally happy to have a 3 star class, given the changeover.
