The other ACC schools may add Big Ten teams to their future

schedules. However, you will also see them add teams from the Big XII, Pac-12, and SEC too with a majority of them being a home-home series. For example Pitt has a home-home with Oklahoma State (2016 and 2017) and Tennessee (2021 and 2022). UNC has a home-home series with Cal (2017 and 2018).

One thing I have noticed is that some ACC schools (i.e. Wake, Duke, UVA, etc) seem to be more willing to play teams from all parts of the US. When it comes to scheduling philosophy, I do not believe there is only 1 way to do things because every team's situation is unique. Although I tend to prefer seeing more matchups with teams from different parts of the country because it may give fans a more complete assessment on their team (at least from a national perspective).
