Probably the best first novel of an author all time.

I felt bad reading her recently published novel because as I read it, I was sure she probably didn't have much say as to whether or not it should be published. Mockingbird was such a masterpiece that there really was no need to follow up with another novel, especially one that was initially written then reworked into what would become TKAM. Easily one of my all time favorite authors.
