2002- 11th
2003- 40th
2004- 2nd
2005- 6th
2006- 5th
2007- 6th
2008- 14th
2009- 7th
2010- 23rd
2011- 17th
2012- 19th
2013- 3rd
2014- 3rd
2015- 40th

Based on the above, 3 coaches on D staying is not enough. I wiish we could have kept ALL of them. Our defense has been among one of the best in America. You keep riding your winning racehorse. Our offense has been among the worst in the nation based on the production on the field compared to the quality talent. This points to coaching. This is the reason the entire offensive staff and anyone remotely responsible for the offense is no longer coaching in Blacksburg. They are gone. That racehorse never left the start line.
