VT's schedule is simply built out more than others right now.


But when the others do build out their schedules, just watchPitt, Syracuse, BC, UVA, Wake, Duke, etc will be adding B1G schools. Plus who among those non-SEC rival programs in the ACC other than VT is willing and able to schedule schools like Ohio St, Mich, Penn St, AND Wisconsin as well as some of the lesser B1G programs for a home and home as their OOC opponent so VT becomes a natural scheduling target for those more elite programs.

(UVA might have in the past, but I think they'll be sticking with the Illinois's of the world for the time being)
