I didn't say, "walls don't work". I said,
"I am imminently practical about the cost of such a wall, where that money comes from, what has to be cut or axed to pay for it, etc. I'm incredulous of Trump's (in my opinion) whackadoo nitwittery that he is somehow going to get Mexico to pay for it, and his cavalier manner of sweeping the details under the rug when he is asked about the specifics of his 'plan'.
I'm the first to say I don't know what the answer is, but I don't understand how anyone can see the border wall as an economically feasible option."
I further said that people slip over and under the wall located here every day. It is a fact. It happens. Every day.
I simply don't see Trump's 'plan' as viable.
As for NPR, over the years, I've seen a number of articles about the border, living near it, etc. Some pro and some against I'd imagine. Specifically with regard to Donald Trump's plan to make Mexico pay for a wall that will stretch several thousand miles, NPR had this to say in 2015.
