I watched the pilot last evening...


I found the music bizz parts interesting and pretty decent music scenes.

Def over-acting 101, and the ending was seemingly bizarre for affect.

& the obligatory race story line which I didn't get --> a young artist stymied by the man who denied him of his desire to be a 'bluesman'???
I have never read about that one...

& what is a Euro-punk band doing in NYC circa-1973? --> must have gotten some cheap flights on the Concord...

Not sure where the subsequent episodes are going to go...
is about all that interests me...
