It's tough for a company to give up their cash cow, even if they have the


"Next" technology.

I know. I used to work for Kodak. They invented a LOT of modern digital photography technology....but film made them so much money, they could never truly commit to going in the digital direction. That is, until the market made them, and by then they were no longer the leader.
