The whole purpose of this seems to be to help TSL better monitor users with the secondary goal in that we might better police ourselves with more moderate behavior and less abuse.

But the users are viewing the stars/rankings as if they were the primary beneficiary of the new feature and making it more personal (which it was never intended to be).

My opinion, a different approach that might have gotten a better response would be to turn on all these analysis tools behind the scenes but not expose it to the users. Just leave us with the +/- totals that we had before and tell us that we are being watched more closely. But don't let us know our stars or rankings.
