I've watched all 5, and will watch last one next week, but their flaw....

in doing this whole concept is only doing 6 episodes, and clearly feeling like they HAD to do so much in a span of 6. It's like trying to cram as much "salute" to the old show and the fans of the old show, that they didn't spend enough time developing what to do, and only 6 episodes doesn't give them time enough to do anything really significant.

There have been a few minor flashes of cool, but not enough.

General feel, too rushed to do too much in short amount of time.

Additionally, it's too "bright." It's too high def.

X-Files original series worked SO well because it was so dark and the way many were filmed gave them that "spooky" look and feel.

They missed the boat production wise this time around.... it's too bright and too high def.

I seriously doubt Fox will do another mini-series set of them in the future.
