It depends. Are you only running one stream?

If you are like me and have 3 teenagers who are streaming Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and any other video they can find and doing it all at the same time.. 15Mb is not enough.

I have 50Mb now and that covers all of our needs. Interestingly enough, we are being upgraded to 200Mb in the next month or so. I guess that's what happens with cable providers when Google is slated to hit your town.

You will need 15mbps for 4k, about 5mbps for a single netflix stream -- John Donna Choi
