To combat zika. The WHO Themselves say that there isn't enough evidence to reach a conclusion.

For me. Occam's Razor applies. Is the cause of microcephaly linked to a virus that has only now started causing the defects? Or is it due to the widespread introduction of a chemical which is used specifically because it causes birth defects in mosquitos? As far as I'm concerned, the fact that only a few of the cases of microcephaly were coinciding with zika while these results were absent in other countries where the chemical was not widely used is damning.
