Add Amazon Prime, get a 3rd party box (more)

Amazon Prime, in addition to their free 2 day shipping on things, has a pretty good selection of streaming shows. It's also good for movie rentals, or buying seasons of tv series you like and can't find for free on other providers.

Forget using smart tv interfaces. They're static, and rarely update. Get a 3rd party streaming box (e.g. Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV). The software is kept current, and the user interfaces are much better. I like the Roku interface, as you can search across all channels, but am having issues with their remote. My wife likes the fire tv interface, but if you don't get Amazon prime, then I wouldn't recommend it.

Enjoy!
