New Indication Logic


So, we need a little help with the new indication logic.

Here is what we propose:

If you haven't loaded the boards in 8 hours:

New threads are indicated with the NEW yellow highlighting.

The posts under it, are indicated with (new) without highlighting.

IF you have seen a thread before, the posts under it are indicated with NEW yellow highlighting.

What we are trying to avoid is 500 posts with NEW yellow. Then its useless. Why tell you it's new if its all new.

Also, if you check out the boards not logged in on a new computer, it will only mark threads as NEW yellow, not the entire message board.

Questions? Im probably going to start working on this in a few minutes so feedback would be great :)
