I'm going to be careful with any "active" names we are currently recruiting for obvious reasons.
However, i will tell you a scoop that happened and gives some insight into the battle VT wrestling faces cracking into the next level of recruiting talent.
Back in the fall, we were very much in the mix for Luke Pletcher. He and his dad were ready to commit to VT, and were offered 90percent. Luke's dad said they wanted to get the recruiting process over with and asked for 95.
As we all know, Luke signed w/OSU during the fall. they did not offer Luke nearly what VT was willing to give.....but he ends up in Columbus.
Tough deal, and thats the part our coaches are trying to break through!!
That said, I think MZ and STJ will help close this gap in a HUGE way
