Each of the top 4 spots come with podium points. I believe the spots are:
1st: 10 pts
2nd: 7 pts
3rd: 4 pts
4th: 2 pts

Wrestlers also add points for advancement. One win = 1 pt on the champion side and 1 win = 0.5 pts on consolation side.

If the wrestler secures bonus points, these are added as well.
MD = +1 pt
TF = +1.5 pts
PIN = +2 pts.

What you and Raised are explaining is the lack of an opportunity for advancement points for wrestlers with Byes. To compensate, the ACC awards an extra advancement point to the bye wrestler if they win. If they lose they get nothing.
