Why are/have we hanging onto espn so long?

There is a very simple reason. The ACC's esteemed commissioner Swofford sold the ACC's soul to ESPN/Raycom several years ago, for a few extra dollars.

ACC has no other options. We are hostage to espn's no ACCN position. We can't do anything, and espn knows it.

Swofford is the most incompetent commissioner of any conference, let a lone a P5 conference.
