Very funny. 3 points to be said here:


(1) Obscure author who had bit parts as a player in 2 seasons (played in 23 games total, 54 at bats & a 0.208 average- big whoop) and has been an obscure hitting coach. Lots of people write books. So what!!!!

(2) If a positive attitude, being confident, being happy was all it took to break a slump, no athlete would ever have one in the first place.

(3) VT athletes have a full staff to provide them the support they need. There are doctors, nurses, nutritionist, S & C folks, trainers & academic support. They even have psychologists to provide help as well when it comes to performance issues like being in a slump. I have no doubt that Wolff is doing what he can to provide the womens bball players with the support they need to get out of their slump. And that would include getting psychological help. At the end of the day, it still comes down to the player fighting their way out of it. And that usually comes from practice, practice and more practice.
